The University Park Public Library is excited to offer a new service to area book clubs. Beginning in January, members of area clubs will able to check out “Book-Club-In-A-Bag” sets. These bags contain eight copies of a popular title, along with discussion questions, author bios, and suggested books. One person will check out the bag and return it five weeks later. The library has sets of the following titles:
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
Eleanor Oliphant is Just Fine by Gail Honeyman
Love and Ruin by Paula McLain
A Place for Us by Fatime Farheen Mirza
Bring Me Back by B. A. Paris
The Dinner List by Rebecca Searle
Something in the Water by Catherine Steadman
The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
Ghosted by Rosie Walsh
Meet Me at the Museum by Anne Youngson
These titles were curated by Sharon Perry, the Library Director, either for their popularity, timely subject, or ability to evoke lively discussion. Book clubs can reserve the titles for upcoming months and make suggestions for future titles; email Ms. Perry at smartin@uptexas.org. The titles will change every five to six months.
