My favorite cinephile – Ruth Mutch

We have just jetted off to Park City, Utah.  I am attending my 4th annual Sundance Film Festival.   Who is “we”?  That would be me and my favorite cinephile, Ruth Mutch.  She is one of the most generous and caring people and I truly appreciate that I am invited to join her on this journey.

I met Ruth while serving as the President & CEO of the Dallas International Film Festival.  She is a board member with the organization and dedicated film philanthropist. Oh, and more importantly, she is an Executive Producer on numerous films.  It makes attending film festivals so much fun.  We have been to the Toronto International Film Festival (see picture above), SXSW, DIFF and Sundance numerous times.  We LOVE film!

I will try to post several blogs about the films we see this year.  The people we see, the places we go and whatever else happens.  It’s always a great adventure.  Stay tuned.
