Easy Travel Style
The brand MERSEA was birthed from a passion of travel and the nostalgic scents that come with it. Founders Mel and Lina were fascinated with the ability of a scent to transport you through time and space, so they created a brand centered around scents and self-care items. Now, they have transformed into a clothing brand with items curated for all of your travels. Each item was made with a person, place and destination in mind, making these garments so unique. Each product is ethically made from artisans around the world.
The pieces I own are not only chic, but so comfortable. And we know that feeling comfortable leads to confidence. I travel with their pieces often and absolutely love their classic travel wrap. It's perfect for keeping you warm on the plane or in a chilly destination. It also makes a great gift!
The co-founders are from Kansas City and longtime friends so it makes sense that their very first brick and mortar store open in their hometown. It's located in Country Club Plaza and it's the perfect little spot to pop in and see the entire collection. For the grand opening and VIP event the night before, Selma Blair (yes, she's blonde) was in attendance. She did a collaboration with MERSEA on their pajamas and loungewear called SEA LA VIE. It takes you from beach to bed to breakfast and I love that it includes a fabulous bed coat! Both events were so fun and we got to meet other influencers, customers and the MERSEA team.
