This is the time in the south we call “transitional dressing” season. It’s spring but quickly heading to summer. In Dallas it was 60 degrees and rainy yesterday and this weekend it will be in 80’s with sunshine. You know what they say in Texas, wait five minutes and the weather will change. That’s why this navy maxi and summer wedge will work now and all summer long.
Talbots and Sole Society are quickly becoming my casual go-to brands. They offer high quality merchandise at reasonable prices and always have great sales. I also like that you can find Sole Society at Nordstrom. They have some of their great handbags and shoes. This maxi dress is so soft and fits perfectly (true to size – I’m wearing size medium) and the wedge heels are super comfortable (true to size – I’m wearing size 8 1/2). This shoot was done on location in the Dallas Arts District in front of the AT&T Performing Arts Center. It’s a good reminder to get out and enjoy our great city because it has so much to offer.
