Let’s be real. You know I didn’t make this floral arrangement. Home decor, decorating and floral arrangements are just not my gift. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy these things. I simply look to Pinterest and Etsy for a little inspiration. Especially during holidays like Easter.

I’m a pinner. I love pinning on Pinterest. Taylor got me started on this when she was in high school. It was also through her that I discovered Etsy. I have to be careful, I can spend hours on these sites and sometimes I’m sucked into a black hole. I do pin all of my images from the blog to Pinterest so that they have a permanent home there. By the way, they are also always on the blog as each blog post is archived. Nothing ever leaves this site. You can search any previous blog post by entering a key word in the SEARCH bar in the right column.

Back to Pinterest and today’s post. I used to share recipes with you and I haven’t done that in a long time. So I’m linking some of my recent finds for you as well as some of my favorites from Etsy. If there is ever a DIY trend going on, you will be able to find it on Etsy and order it. You know I’m not going to get a glue gun out and start making things. Lordy…

Current favorites on Pinterest

Sally’s Baking Addiction – she is one of the first people I followed on Pinterest. I gain weight just looking at her pictures. Salted Caramel Turtle Brownies anyone? I love this chili recipe that I discovered when I was reducing carbs. It does not have beans in it and I like my chili without beans. So delicious and easy to make (crockpot recipe)! Be sure to follow my ‘favorite recipes’ board because I do a lot of my cooking from recipes I have pinned here. Before I ever decided to start a blog, I was following one blogger. I initially found her through Pinterest and you should follow her to. Rach Parcell writes Pink Peonies. Her images are beautiful and it lead me to her blog. In fact, I kind of structured my blog using her formula. Blog about one thing each day.

Current favorites in Etsy

Want the beach hat with pom poms that everyone has? Shop in Hats by Olivia. The custom door mat craze can be found in Olive Paper Company. Remember the beautiful Greek sandals I wore last summer (look at this blog post), they can be found in Marbe Unique Handcraft. This sandal trend isn’t going away. If its seasonal decor you are looking for, consider starting here to shop for Easter and more. How about a new wreath for you front door. I suggest trying this site. The possibilities are endless on Etsy.

Also, I wanted to remind you that TODAY is the day of the Shopbop Sale. I found so much more stuff after Wednesday’s blog post so I have added them for you below.

Whatever your plans are this holiday weekend, I hope you get to enjoy a little time off with your family. Wishing you a beautiful Easter weekend filled with blessings and joy.

See you back here on Monday!  xoxo – Tanya
