Bell sleeves anyone? I am in LOVE with this trend. And you don’t have to spend a lot of money to engage. Today, let’s talk about how flattering this trend is (code: hide your arms) with Nordstrom.
I for one love to go sleeveless. My arms are the one body part that stay skinny so it’s a little trick of mine to give a slender illusion. But lately I have really gone gaga over the bell sleeve craze. It’s such a flattering look and anyone can wear it. This top that I have on from Nordstrom is only $55! It’s so soft and flows beautifully. I can tell you that it will be one of my favorites this spring/summer. You’ve heard me talk about these jeans before. But now I have them in white denim (hint: they’re only $59). Both the top and jeans fit true to size. And how about this beautiful Rebecca Minkoff saddle bag in cerulean? This gorgeous color also comes in this satchel style. Cerulean – I just love the name of that color. It reminds me of the scene in The Devil Wears Prada where they are pulling looks and are working around a cerulean colored belt. Andy Sachs snickers at the deliberation over the similar ‘blue belts’ and Miranda Priestly rips her a new one. Classic!
Have I told you one of my favorite Nordstrom online shopping tricks? Clearly, I am a HUGE online shopper. For all the reasons that are obvious – its an enormous time saver and with free shipping and returns there is no downside. But here is my little secret. I often shop online and then pick it up in the store. You simply indicate “Pick Up In Store” on the item when ordering it before you check out. I do this when I’m in a hurry and need something immediately (code: I couldn’t get my act together and need something ASAP for a photo shoot). I can usually get it within 2 hours and there is a designated location at your local Nordstrom store to pick up your items. They are sacked and ready to go.
