I’m so brave. Not because I had thermage done but because I am showing you the raw pictures from the procedure and I have absolutely no make up on. So be forwarded – today you are seeing 100% me and nothing else. Well, you are seeing the lovely Dr. Lori Stetler performing the procedure too.
You have seen so many procedures on this site that I have had done at the Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics. That’s because I believe in being authentic with this blog and 100% honest with you. I always show you the procedure and then give you a follow-up post with before and after pictures. Today, I am showing you the thermage treatment I recently had done.
Thermage is a safe, non-invasive, radiofrequency (RF) cosmetic procedure that’s clinically proven to help smooth and improve skin for an overall younger looking appearance. The treatment delivers natural looking results with little to no downtime—on all skin types on and off the face, all in a single procedure. Basically, thermage uses heat to make your collagen regenerate which will lead to tighter, plumper skin. Dr. Stetler did my entire face and upper neck area. The upper neck area was done to help tighten my skin in addition to the Kybella treatments I did. You can read about that procedure in this post.
Full results take 3-6 months so I will follow-up with the before and after pictures in May. You might wonder why I have these procedures done at the Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics. That’s easy. Dr. Stetler has been my dermatologist for over 20 years and I only trust a doctor to do any of these medical treatments. Another reason is that she is up on all the latest technology and dermatology medical updates since she travels to several seminars each year. By the way, I always ask her what she is doing to keep her skin in tip-top shape and she tells me. Thermage is one of them (her before and after pictures can be seen here).
There is no downtime with this procedure. Dr. Stetler does suggest a valium and pain medication shot before the treatment to make the patient more comfortable and I was happy to oblige. This enables her to turn up the heat for maximum results without any pain for the patient. You only need one treatment with this procedure. By the way, the temporary graph you see on my face is for guidance. It helps Dr. Stetler track her pattern when passing over my face with the wand.

P.S. Look how long my lashes have grown since using NeuLash. I’ve applied it nightly for about a month. It really works! You can get it here. The tube will last you an entire year.
