Hello sweet friends! I hope you had a wonderful 3-day holiday weekend. We spent some much-needed time with family and had a few relaxing days around here. But now its time to get the week going and I can’t think of a better way than to have coffee with Alicia of The Lush List. While we’re at it, let’s discuss how to style wedge heels.

Secret confession: I love a 3-day weekend with no plans. It feels so good to get things done around the house, shop, get a manicure/pedicure and just binge watch shows. I went to the grocery store at 9 PM on Sunday night and no one was shopping. Heaven! Do you binge watch anything? Right now we watching The Handmaid’s Tale while we anxiously wait for Game of Thrones to return in July. Feel free to give me your recommendations.

OK, let’s talk wedge heels. My dear friend Alicia Wood who writes The Lush List and I were talking about how to best style these platform heels. Personally, I like them with skinny jeans. She loves them with a dress but styled them with white denim. Alicia and I really don’t have to coordinate our shoot very much as we have very similar styles. For example, I could wear her wedge heels with my outfit and vice versa. The trick to styling wedge heels is to let them be the focus point of your outfit. You don’t need a whole lot of layers or prints because it will be too much. Don’t overdo it! Mine are part of the Nordstrom 1/2 Yearly Sale and currently 40% OFF!
