T.G.I.F. I am so happy the week is over! I’m excited to share with you that I was recently featured in D Magazine as one of the ‘Instagrammers of a Certain Age‘. Pete picked up an issue of D Magazine at the grocery store and brought it home. Once I got over the horror of my unfiltered quote (I need to find a synonym for ‘half-ass’), I was excited to be included in this round-up. I think my quote was me being a little over zealous about being included. Featured with me are long-time blogger buddies So Heather, The Middle Page and Street Style Squad. We are all over 40 and just plugging along. Let me know what you think.
Now, let’s do a quick update post. I’m going to NYC twice in June for two shoots. Excited that I booked both of them. I’ll be sure to post on social media when I am there and do recap posts from both trips. Any suggestions? I’m there to work of course but I always love recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Please leave me a comment below with your suggestions.
Below are some items that I am trying and want to share with you. Please be patient with me on beauty products. I like to use them for a full 2 weeks before I give my opinion on them. Yep, I have added another OLLY Nutrition flavor to my morning vitamins. FLAWLESS COMPLEXION is super yummy and really helps keep my skin healthy. The flavor is ‘Berry Fresh’. Taylor and I just had our bra fittings done at Nordstrom. If you have not done this I highly recommend it. Go into the store and meet one of the lingerie experts. They will fit you and have you try on several different brands to achieve the perfect fit. If you are not near a Nordstrom store, be sure to read their fit guide here. This slip is so good and perfect for those little summer dresses. These are the best nude panties. They are comfortable and leave no lines. Be sure to stock up. The bra brands that fit me the best are Chantelle and Wacoal. I always wear nude bras and panties because they work with everything.
Literally OBSESSED with Charlotte Tilbury at the moment. I know I am repeating myself but I would spread the super model body cream all over my body if I could. And the magic cream applies on your face like butter. SO GOOD!
