The Odyssey

OK, first things first. Our son, P.J. and I got to attend the Dallas press screening of The Odyssey on Monday night. It opens nationwide in theaters on Friday, July 17 and we highly recommend it! It's the story you're probably are familiar with as it was on your reading list in high school. - Homer's The Iliad and The Odyssey. After the Trojan War, Odysseus faces a dangerous voyage back to Ithaca, meeting creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and Calypso along the way. Writer, director and producer Christopher Nolan does epic masterpieces like no other director. The entire film is shot on 70mm IMAX and we highly recommend seeing it in an IMAX movie theater. This is a big screen film where the sound and music help take you on Odysseus' 10 year journey home. You might know this director from his other work - Interstellar, The Dark Knight (part of the Batman trilogy), Oppenheimer, Dunkirk, Inception, and more. We've long been fans of his work and this film ranks as one of his best. Click HERE to watch the trailer. Get out and go see it in a theater this weekend!

NSale Under $50

There are many great sweaters for under $50, and this crewneck sweater (Reg $59/Sale $38) is one of them. I also love this mockneck sweater (Reg $79/Sale $49) for a flattering, lightweight sweater for fall. This sleeveless mockneck sweater (Reg $69/Sale $49) is another classic style.
