Jeanie Almond, a Beretta Pro and the first female national champion in trap, opened the day with tips and tricks for all ages and experience levels at the sporting clay field. What made this so exciting was the exhibition of the Firebird Targets, an instant recognition tool that causes the clay to explode upon the hit! Meanwhile guests hit the ATV trail on a dozen of the newest and coolest selection of vehicles from Freedom Powersports of Dallas.
The thrill was not complete without a Firebird helicopter ride overlooking the spectacular 505 acres of impressive designer lake homes, fishing ponds, world class polo facility and equestrian center.
After you got your thrill fix you were able to continue on to the Parade of Homes, starting at the stunning Spec Home on lot 48. Designed by renowned architect Jerry Coleman, this 4,863-square foot, 4-bedroom, 4.5 bath, has a great open kitchen, den, bunk room and game room. The home is perched on an incredible heavily treed 1.6-acre lot with vast lake views. With Mr. Coleman’s extensive expertise in similar projects, he has truly refined a clean-lined rustic ranch and lake home that contains the finest of quality finishes and millwork. Expansive outdoor entertaining spaces include wide patios and an incredible screened porch overlooking Cedar Creek Lake. Sound like your dream home...it’s on the market! To be completed late Dec 2017 $1.995.
The day culminated with a party at the Clubhouse featuring fines wines hand selected by the sommelier at Pogo’s, beef tenderloin, mini lobster tacos, arancini (fried risotto), charcuterie and an array of cheeses, and a variety of scrumptious cannoli for dessert beautifully presented by Proper Catering.
What an amazing day to spend a Sunday!!
