Dash Down Greenville and Support the SPCA of Texas!
25th Annual St. Paddy's Day Dash Down Greenville 5K is March 14, 2020

 

(DALLAS, TX), February 21, 2020 -- Lace up your luckiest running shoes and get ready to dash down Greenville Avenue in a sea of green! The 25th Annual St. Paddy's Day Dash Down Greenville 5K, benefitting the SPCA of Texas, is March 14, 2020. Registration is $35 until March 8th then prices will increase. Register today at www.runproject.org. When you register, be sure to choose the SPCA of Texas as the beneficiary. 

The SPCA of Texas is excited to take part in the festivities, which begin at 8:00 a.m. at Central Market on Lovers Lane. The race will be followed by an award ceremony, cash prizes and a FREE beer garden available for race participants. Registrants will receive a soft short sleeve race shirt and a special 25th anniversary finisher medal. There will also be live music by Division 80, games and a donut eating contest!

The SPCA of Texas is in need of 100 people to volunteer and help make this year's Dash Down Greenville a success. Plus, the SPCA of Texas will receive a $20 donation for EVERY volunteer that participates! All volunteer shifts are from 5am-11am, rain or shine. Volunteer assignments are given upon arrival and include tasks like bag check, registration, course monitors, beer garden, cheer stations, etc. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt as well as a swag bag at the end of their shift! When you volunteer, not only will you be helping to make the event a success, but you will be helping the SPCA of Texas receive donations, which helps us in our critical work providing vital services to our community’s most vulnerable pets and their people.
