The SPCA of Texas is pleased to take part in the tenth annual North Texas Giving Day on September 20, 2018! Every year, the people of North Texas come together to help thousands of local non-profits for North Texas Giving Day, including the SPCA of Texas. On that day, gifts made through the SPCA of Texas' profile page on the North Texas Giving Day website will be matched dollar for dollar up to $75,000 provided by an anonymous donor as well as multiplied by bonus funds and prizes between 6 a.m. and midnight, for an 18 hour giving extravaganza!

Our donors' generosity makes it possible for us to rescue, heal and find homes for more than 35,000 animals each year. It takes about $800 to care for the animals that come through our doors. If nine people give the average donation, they give us the ability to say yes to do whatever it takes to save an animal's life. Whether it's $10 or $200, every dollar helps save animals.

Not available on September 20? This year you can schedule your gift to the SPCA of Texas between September 10 and September 20. Your gift will then be processed on North Texas Giving Day when it will be matched and multiplied with bonus funds. There's also a new way for you to help the SPCA of Texas raise money this North Texas Giving Day. It's easy for you and your friends to raise money by creating a personalized FUNdraising page by going to the North Texas Giving Day website.

North Texas Giving Day is powered by Communities Foundation of Texas, a 64-year-old community foundation that has produced North Texas Giving Day since 2009. As the largest community foundation in Texas and one of the largest in the nation, Communities Foundation of Texas works to strengthen the community through a variety of charitable funds and strategic grantmaking initiatives. During last year's North Texas Giving Day, 2,323 individuals made 2,366 gifts to the SPCA of Texas, and the organization exceeded its goal of $250,000, raising $287,838 and earning a $30,000 match!

The SPCA of Texas is the leading animal welfare organization in North Texas.
