Born in Italy and raised in New York, Simonetta Moro is a visual artist and theorist, with a focus on painting, drawing and mapping practices. She has broad teaching experience, and her work has been exhibited and published internationally. She studied at the American Academy in Rome on a Fulbright fellowship and was an artist-in-residence at the Skowhegan School. She currently serves as director of school and vice president for academic affairs at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts in Portland, Maine. For more information call 214.768.2787.
