It simply doesn’t get any better than spending an evening with an American icon – an entertainer whom Leonard Bernstein called “the greatest cultural force of the twentieth century.” The program will feature an Elvis “Vegas” medley, Michael Daugherty’s Dead Elvis, Eric Whitacre’s Godzilla Eats Las Vegas (with a video presentation of the creature stomping and eating virtually everything in sight!), Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances”from West Side Story and Frank Zappa’s Dog Breath Variations.
