The world renowned Texas Boys Choir will perform at the Saint Michael Presents spring concert at Saint Michael and All Angels Church on Sunday evening, March 30.

The performance, which starts at 7:00, will feature music the choir presented on its recently completed seven city tour throughout the southeastern United States.  The program includes music from Mass Ordinary as well as folk and popular traditions including an “Old West Medley.”

“We are extremely privileged to have the Texas Boys Choir in the inaugural season of our community concert series Saint Michael Presents, said James Diaz, Saint Michael’s director of music.  “The choir has performed around the world before Presidents, Popes, and heads of state.  Presenting them to the Dallas community is an artistic coup.”

The concert is free, but tickets are required to assure adequate seating. Tickets are available online at www.saintmichael.org or at the church reception desk at 8011 Douglas at Colgate. The concert will be in the church’s sanctuary.

Texas Boys Choir has traveled throughout the United States and to numerous international destinations including Australia, Japan, England, Mexico, Latvia and Germany. Additionally, the choir has appeared on national television and radio broadcasts. With more than 40 professional recordings with Columbia, Decca, and other independent labels, Texas Boys Choir continues to earn its reputation as one of the premier boy choirs in the world.
