Peach Pie

- 1.5 C sugar
- 2 T flour
- ½ C water
- ¼ t almond extract
- 2 C Peaches or 16oz frozen
- ¾ stick of Butter
- 2 Frozen Piecrusts
Cinnamon and Nutmeg for sprinkling
Mix first 4 ingredients…Add peaches….put mixture into pie crust and cover mixture with pads of butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg
Cut other pie crust into strips and place on top
Bake at 350 for 60 minutes until crust is cooked… Let sit for 15 minutes to set.
This can also be made as a cobbler by using only one piecrust. Instead of putting mixture into pie shell place directly in pan and then cut strips of pie shell to cover.
