This original recipe is from my grandmother Mimi.
- ½ c flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Sift above, then add
- 1 cup milk (see note below)
- 2 tablespoons Wesson Oil
Adjust the milk because you want the batter to look a little soupy.
Pour in greased pan and cook at 400 until brown.
Notes:
- sub out milk with apple juice or soy milk to make it dairy free for Robert
- switch out Wesson Oil with olive oil
- grease pan with olive oil
