This is really easy to make and I typically serve over vanilla ice cream. I have also served over pound cake too!
6 Bananas - ripe, peeled and sliced
1/4c brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup rum
Melt butter, cinnamon and brown sugar in a frying pan on low-medium heat. Put in sliced bananas and turn up heat. Saute' until bananas are soft.
Add rum. I catch the flame off my gas burner but you can use a match - just light it on the edge. It will flare so just be ready! Let the flame burn out and then serve.
If the "flambe" scares you, it is fine without the rum...
