This easy recipe became a BubbleLife favorite on our summer retreat.

Ingredients:

  • 8 jalapeños
  • 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. package of bacon (I used a small package and cut the pieces in half)
  • Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning or another seasoning like Lawry's Seasoned Salt

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise.

Using gloves (or I put my hands in two gallon-size storage bags!), clean out all the seeds.

Spread cream cheese on each half - be generous. Wrap each jalapeño with a half piece of bacon.

Put in a pan with sides — there will be a lot of grease! Sprinkle with seasoning.

Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour until the jalapeño is softened and the bacon is crispy.
