CrockPot Pork Tenderloin
2/8/2005 8:00:23 AM

This is one of the best pork recipes I have found for the crockpot. It is easy and really good

2 pork tenderloin, desired size
apple butter
ground cloves, to taste
ground nutmeg, to taste
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup apple brandy or schnapps
3 cinnamons sticks, broken in half
apple juice or cider

Slice tenderloin lengthwise, 3/4 of the way through, leaving about a 1/4-inch at each end. Spread inside of slit and entire outside of port with apple butter. Place in a 6-quart crockpot.

In a small bowl, combine cloves, nutmeg and sugar; sprinkle evenly on top of tenderloin; add liquor and cinnamon sticks. Cover with apple juice or cider and cook on low for 7 - 10 hours.
