Let's be honest, the only thing you care about on Friday is how quickly you can get some alcohol flowing through your body. While some of us may hit up a bar or restaurant, you can always make a cocktail at home. This isn't your traditional cocktail I must warn you, but any time something is made with or infused with alcohol it's bound to be good right?

Try a Margarita Popsicle. It's almost summer, its going to be hot and humid, so why not make yourself a delicious treat that will cool you off.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 2 tablespoons orange liqueur (Grand Marnier)
  • Kosher salt, for garnish
  • Popsicle Molds

Directions
Combine sugar, lime juice, water, lemon juice and orange juice in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Once cool transfer to a blender with tequila, orange liqueur, and lime wedge and process until smooth.

Pour into Popsicle Molds. Freeze until hard, preferably overnight. Remove from freezer and run the Popsicle Molds under warm water to loosen the Popsicles. Garnish with kosher salt and serve.

Enjoy this taste, but semi-alcoholic treat. Remember...tell the kids these are grown up Popsicles!
