Providence Celebrates Texas Independence Day
Casey and Colin Prater, hosts Kenzie and Case Killgore, Matt and Bailey Troutt
More than 60 Providence Christian School alumni celebrated Texas Independence Day at Kenzie and Case Killgore’s home in Greenway Parks on February 26, a few days early. Former students who are now post-college enjoyed reconnecting with their Providence friends, many of whom live in the Dallas area.
Texas history holds a special place in the hearts of Providence alumni who memorized William B. Travis’ entire letter to the Alamo as third graders and visited the famous Texas landmarks during their Texas History trip in Class Seven.
A special thanks to the host committee Case and Kenzie Killgore, Allison and Devin Darnell, Leila Redwine, Carlton Cornelius, Meredith Lockhart, Hunter Lockhart, Hannah Bires, Sarah McWhorter, Sam Turner, Jackson Mabry, Sarah Johnson, Cannon Lewis McClintock, and Walker Fults.
