With locations in Fort Worth and Richardson, Lockwood Distilling Co. was built upon Sally and Evan Batt’s love for their community. The Statler’s underground speakeasy, Bourbon & Banter, will present a private dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 featuring a special menu celebrating Lockwood’s offerings. Each of the menu’s four courses will be paired with a cocktail spotlighting a Lockwood spirit.

 

The menu for the dinner is as follows:

 

Amuse Bouche

Smoked Salmon Canape

Lockwood 76

Hibiscus vodka, lemon, topped with Brut Rose sparkling wine

 

First Course

Grilled chicken with butter poached heirloom carrots and wild rice, served with a whiskey black cherry chutney

Army Navy

Lockwood Gin, lemon juice, almond orgeat, aromatic bitters

 

Second Course

Black pepper crusted wagyu Denver steak served with Lockwood bourbon maple glazed acorn squash

Maple Syrup Manhattan

Lockwood Rye Whiskey, maple syrup, vermouth, black cherry garnish, served on the rocks

 

Dessert

Lockwood bourbon pecan tarts

Vanilla Rum Spice Bourbon Cream

Lockwood Vanilla Rum, bourbon cream, pumpkin spice syrup

 

 

Tickets to the dinner are $85 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made at bit.ly/bnblockwood.
