Today I pulled off yet another "flyer" on my front door trying to sell a service.  I also peeled off paint that stuck to the tape used to attach it to my door.  I've had enough!  There are several places on my wrought iron, painted front door where paint has been pulled off trying to remove someone's sales pitch from my door.  I consider this vandalism and property damage and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it.  I left a complaint with the HP Police this morning, but I'm not sure what they can or will do.  My front door is beginning to look tacky from all the tape damage.

Is anyone else having a problem with this?  I also have glass in my front door that they could stick their nuisance paper to without damaging the paint, but that rarely happens.  Rest assured that I will NEVER use HP Professional Tree Care and Landscaping at 214.503.8615 after the damage done to my door this morning. 

Do the distributors of flyers have to get a permit like solicitors?  If so, maybe they can be told not to use tape!!
