Dallas Rocks Against Autism

It’s time to get together and start rocking to help fund autism research and advocacy. Dallas Rocks Against Autism is a charitable event to benefitThe Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy, BRAINS FOR AUTISM and The Warrior Parents of Dallas Benevolent Project. Dallas Rocks Against Autism will be held on April 9, 2011 at the 2616 Commerce Street Place from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Jenny McCarthy, Dawn and Ryan Neufeld will be among the special guests at this event! Outstanding live entertainment includes classic rock from Osage and The Compulsive Jam Band, the comedic talents of David Jessup, and the comedic troupe Shoes for the Dead. Special guest speakers will provide hope and information about autism spectrum disorders.  There will be raffle items, a live auction, cash bar and catering by Chef Douglas Brown, voted best caterer by D Magazine for 2010. The Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy works diligently to protect the present and future rights of individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum; BRAINS FOR AUTISM provides research funding to to the University of Texas Southwestern Hospital and Childrens Medical Center for medical research in autism spectrum disorders. Every year, The Warrior Parents of Dallas donate needed items to underprivileged families with children with autism related disorders.
