“Far too many neighbors in our community do not know where they will find their next meal. With the money raised over the past 25 years through DFW Restaurant Week, participating diners have provided over 33 million meals to those facing hunger in North Texas,” said Trisha Cunningham, North Texas Food Bank president and CEO. “We are grateful for those who support the annual event, including the many restaurants. Their partnership is key to creating lasting change for our neighbors and working toward a hunger-free and healthy North Texas.”

Created to celebrate and support the unique Dallas – Fort Worth community and its culinary scene, DFW Restaurant Week benefits both local charities and restaurant businesses. Over the past 26 years, DFW Restaurant Week has helped make the traditionally slow late-summer season busier for restauranteurs while also raising more than $11 million for NTFB and Lena Pope. Last year’s 25th Anniversary DFW Restaurant Week raised an impressive $402,547 in donations for the longtime charity partners.

“The clients and staff of Lena Pope are so grateful to benefit from all the great meals offered and served through DFW Restaurant Week each year. The impact really adds up and makes a difference in what we are able to do: the more people dine out, the more funds are raised, and the more support we can give to local children and families through counseling, education, and behavior interventions,” said Lena Pope CEO Ashley Elgin, Ph.D. “We hope our Tarrant area residents recognize this as a way they can help their neighbor – simply by enjoying a terrific DFW Restaurant Week meal at one of our generous, participating partner restaurants.”

Don’t miss out! Starting July 10, visit the new website to explore the restaurant options and make your reservations. Dining reservations can also be made via OpenTable or directly with restaurants. Be sure to mention DFW Restaurant Week and request the campaign menu to ensure that the charities receive the special donation. Find all the delicious details at DFWRestaurantWeek.com.
