LVI, the acclaimed fine dining destination located in The Statler, is launching a new menu for the fall that is reflective of the sophisticated, well-traveled diners it draws. Service of the new menu will begin on Monday, Aug. 14.

Guests can begin their culinary experience at LVI with six new appetizers, two new desserts and an exceptional bread board offering. The bread board includes either a beef tallow sweet potato mini loaf or sourdough bread with an array of available spreads, including foie mousse, Castelvetrano olive tapenade, whipped ricotta with truffle honey and fennel pollen and other choices. Other starters, which range from $14-$26, include House-Smoked Scottish Salmon Croustades, Scallop Crudo and Spicy Beef Empanadas with a red pepper aioli.

The restaurant’s globally inspired main selections include a Miso Yuzu Glazed Black Cod served with a carrot ginger puree and sugar snap peas and a Meyer Lemon and Champagne Risotto with Argentinian shrimp, preserved lemon and fresh chives. The nine selections range from $21-$49.

A wide array of side dishes is available a la carte for $12 each, including Parmesan truffle fries, roasted garlic pommes puree, sauteed butter and herb mushrooms and other choices.

Desserts are made in house and include baked Alaska, Chaco Peanut Dream and a brûléed cheesecake.

“North Texans are diverse, well-traveled and have refined palates, and our residents and guests at The Statler are seeking an elevated dining experience they can enjoy not just for special occasions but several days a week,” explained Leo Morales, Chief Operating Officer of Refined Hospitality Concepts. “LVI embraces classic, European culinary technique and offers a truly elevated bistro experience.”

The restaurant’s name, which is 56 in Roman numerals, reflects the history of The Statler. The hotel first opened its doors in 1956 and was immediately hailed as a wonder of design and technology. The first major hotel built in Dallas in 30 years, The Statler introduced guests to the first hotel elevator music, first in-room televisions and more. LVI plans to embrace the midcentury glamour and style that has defined The Statler since its inception.

LVI showcases an impressive beverage program, including a fabulous wine room with more than 1,000 bottles curated to complement the restaurant menu. Additionally, the impressive array of spirits ranges from the traditional to the sublime.

The dining room continues to reflect a classic private club feel, with a dramatic wine display as guests enter the restaurant. Private dining spaces are available for meetings and intimate gatherings, including the Captain’s Room, which offers private dining and full AV functions.
