As you can see it's written in bold white and red "H&M Coming Summer 2011!" but what seems odd to this iPhone Reporter is that H&M stores are almost always two story. The international retailer has habit of building stores in more urban locations where multiple stories is the industry favored way to effectively use the sometimes limited urban retail square footage. Sure this is Dallas where most American suburban retailers build "big box" stores out in suburbia as far as the eye can see but traditionally H&M has always stayed with their urban multiple level store roots even in wide open spaces Americana.

Another interesting tidbit is the two retail stores below the new H&M, Puzzle Zoo and Justice, have already announced moving plans to other retail spaces within the Mall. What could possibly encouraging such a move of two child friendly stores from two premium locations near other childrens retailers like the recently opened Lego store.

Could this new large chunk of space be the rumored larger Apple Store so badly needed at the landmark NorthPark Center. If you've followed the recent news posted right here on ParkCities iPhone Reporter you might have read that just down Hwy 75 the Knox Street Apple store will double in size to soon be the largest in Texas, taking over an empty retail space next door. If you follow the international Apple Inc news you might have heard the sheer popularity of the Apple brand of electronics has convinced the company to build bigger stores to handle consumer demand. Could Apple Inc possibly be expanding two stores so close to each other, maybe, or does NorthPark Center have some other retailers in line to sweep up some prime NorthPark Center retail space. Either way I'm sure local shoppers will be excited to see what new store(s) are announced in the coming months.
