JANUARY 14

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 59-year-old resident told police that she was laid off from her job and went to the unemployment office to file her status when the representative told her she was already collecting unemployment in both North Carolina and South Carolina between Oct. 1 and Jan. 7 in the 3600 block of McFarlin Blvd.

HARASSMENT (OTHER THAN BY THREAT)

A 48-year-old resident reported that an unknown female called her daughter’s cell phone and called her a vulgar name between Jan. 3 and Jan. 14 in the 3800 block of University Blvd.

JANUARY 15

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A 24-year-old Garland resident told police that her vehicle was parked near the curb and another vehicle struck it, causing damage, at 11 a.m. on Jan. 15 in the 4300 block of Stanhope Drive.

FORGERY OF FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT

A 51-year-old Dallas resident reported that a white male attempted to pass a fraudulent $50 bill in lieu of a meal he ordered at the Cisco Grill between 11:30 a.m. and 11:59 a.m. on Jan. 15 in the 6600 block of Snider Plaza.

BURGLARY OF HABITATION

A 45-year-old Dallas resident told police that unknown suspects entered her home and removed the stove top and double oven, valued at approximately $4,500, through the garage between Jan. 5 and Jan. 15 in the 4300 block of San Carlos Drive.

JANUARY 18

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A Dallas resident reported that unknown subjects stole a shirt valued at approximately $110 at the Mine Boutique between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 18 in the 4400 block of Lovers Lane.
