The Tigua Princess Tribe of the Park Cities recognized University Park Firefighters on September 11. The tribe thanked the firefighters for their service and dedication to the community. The Tiguas are a father-daughter civic group that started in kindergarten (at Armstrong Elementary School) and continues to this day, as the girls have entered their junior year in high school.
