On August 22, the Chi Omega Construction Committee, President of Southern Methodist University Dr. R. Gerald Turner and his wife, Gail Turner, and donors from around the country gathered at the new Chi Omega house at SMU to officially open the home for the fall 2014 semester. The new, state-of-the-art house, located at 3034 Daniel Avenue, was designed by Selzer Associates, Inc. and features a high-end finish out by interior designer Mersina Pappas Stubbs of Pappas Design. Architects included John R. Brown, AIA, a vice president of Selzer Associates Inc., and David Ricker, AIA, project manager of Selzer Associates Inc. Spring Valley Construction Company handled construction management and general contracting for the home.
