Fans of heavy metal and live music should stop by The Door in Deep Ellum on Friday to watch the band Drater rock the house and put on a great stage show.

Drater is a rock 'n' roll band that is made up of three Highland Park Middle School students, and it will be playing a show at 8 p.m on Sept. 16 at The Door.

Even though the band members are young, don't let their age fool you — these kids are talented!

Currently, the group primarily plays cover songs by bands such as Metallica and the Beatles, but the members have started writing more original music.

The Door is located at 2513 Main St., and tickets to the event cost $10 for ages 20 and below and $8 for ages 21 and up.
