Retail as Art, a photography scholarship competition for local high school students, announces that the seventh annual competition will open for submissions on February 15. Students are invited to capture their definition of “retail as art” through their lenses and submit their photographs by March 15. Retail as Art is free to participate in and open to all high school students in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. 

Students can submit their photographs from February 15 through March 15 online at Once the submission deadline has ended, the judges will select finalists, and the winners will be announced on April 25 at the Scholarship Presentation and Celebration at Goss-Michael Foundation Gallery.

DFW-area high school students are encouraged to submit their best photographic interpretations of “Retail as Art” to be judged by local photographers, influencers and industry professionals. The top entrants will receive Retail as Art Scholarships, and there will be a scholarship winner in the Instagram category as well. The annual competition’s mission is to showcase the best local photographic talent, celebrate and capture the true essence of Dallas/Fort Worth retail and reward students for their talent and efforts.
