There have been a couple of stories on BubbleLife recently about the fifth annual Snider Plaza Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony that is being hosted from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the shopping center, but we finally got the specifics about the event.

So, here ya go.

Master of Ceremonies
Brad Watson, Channel 8 News

Entertainment
There will be music and presentations by the Lovers Lane Jazz Band, Jimmy Baldwin Group, Dallas Music, Dallas Metropolitan Ballet, the HPHS football team and head coach Randy Allen, Lads and Lassies, and the big man himself — Santa Claus!

Specifically for children, there will be face paintings, balloons, bounce houses and more.

Food Vendors
There will be several local vendors offering food to the crowd, including Kuby's, Peggy Sue BBQ, Banditos and Yumilicious, just to name a few.

Donations Accepted
Attendees are encouraged to bring a frozen turkey or nonperishable food items to donate to the North Texas Food Bank. (Note: There will be a refrigerated truck at Snider Plaza to collect the frozen turkeys.) Also, a local Boy Scout troop will be collecting donations of toys to give to the Salvation Army.
