Highland Park High School Soccer is leading the line in offering programs for individual soccer development in the Park Cities, and surrounding, community. Every Monday night HPHS Soccer hosts a Performance Academy with the focus on individual ball mastery and development within fast and transitional small-sided games for both boys and girls aged 5 years old and up.

Each Monday night the boys and girls high school coaches create a positive and challenging learning environment using the Coerver Method. The Coerver Method is utilized by professional clubs and national federations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and South America to develop the individual technique of the youth soccer player.

Almost 50 youth soccer players from our community took advantage of the program through the first 12-week academy. Each player has seen an increase in their confidence on the ball, a better ability to beat players in 1vs1 situations and to take quicker advantage of the transitional aspects of the game of soccer.

Registration for 5-12 year olds is open for the second 12-week course (March 30- June 22). CLICK HERE

Highland Park will host the only Goalkeeper Performance Academy in north Texas during the 12-week course of March 30-June 22.

For more information please contact Stewart Brown (Head Girls Soccer Coach) via email on brownste@hpisd.org and you can learn more from CoerverTexas on their website.
