Congratulations to the Running Scots as they competed well in the Northwest Ken Garland Invitational this past Saturday at Discovery Park in Denton on the UNT campus.  The varsity team finished 5th overall in the team standings and were led by John Moss who finished 20th in the individual standings with a time of 16:53.  The top 3 runners - John Moss, Jack Alessio, and Eric Lara again finished only 6 seconds apart.  

The Junior Varsity finished 2nd overall and were led by Ethan Moss who turned in a top 4 performance finishing with a time of 18:05.  In addition to Moss, freshmen Jacob McMullen, Thomas Bandy, and Dylan Benak all finished in the top 20.  The Golden Spike Award for runner of the week goes to John Moss.  The Running Scots will compete next Saturday at Myers Park in the Lovejoy Cross Country Fall Festival.  Start time 7:30.  Go Scots!!
