The LifeWorks Group, founded by Melanie Wells in 1999, has long been Uptown Dallas and Fort Worth’s premier counseling spot for individuals, couples and families in the DFW area. LifeWorks has now opened a new office in the Park Cities, in the Legacy Bank building in Snider Plaza (above the bike shop). Aside from its convenient location right in the heart of the Park Cities, Lifeworks Park Cities boasts some catchy draws.

Lifeworks Park Cities hosts eight therapists, a broad mix of Licensed Professional Counselors and Counselor Interns, as well as therapeutic yoga instructors. Each therapist specializes in a different niche: play therapy for kids, parenting, abuse, divorce, trauma, addiction, sports performance anxiety and ADHD. Even body/skin picking are among their lists of specialties. Lifeworks is also a training facility, which benefits clients because they offer a unique fee scale.  LifeWorks is also a collaborative therapy group - meaning clients get the expertise of all Lifeworks therapists - 22 heads for the price of one.

If you’re more of a joiner, Lifeworkers also offer several groups: Yoga for Empowerment (adults), PsychYoga - Taming the Madness Within, Parenting-Skills Training, Family Members of Addicts, and Yoga for Self-Control (children), just to name a few. Childcare is also provided for most groups.
