NOVEMBER 11

Theft
An 82-year-old resident reported that $21,650 worth of jewelry was stolen from his residence at 2:45 p.m. in the 3500 block of Rosedale Avenue. According to the report, the jewelry included various toe and tongue rings.

NOVEMBER 13

Theft
A 53-year-old resident reported shingles were taken from a job site between 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 in the 3800 block of Marquette Street.

Criminal Trespass
A 44-year-old resident reported that two men entered her back yard and were approaching her residence when they were confronted by her and her dog between 10:50 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. in the 2700 block of Lovers Lane. The subjects fled the area and were captured nearby, according to a police report.

Theft
A 44-year-old resident reported that his power tools and lawn equipment were taken from his truck between 1:30 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. in the 3500 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.

NOVEMBER 15

Vehicle Burglary
A 22-year-old resident reported that tools, electronics and clothing were stolen from his Jeep between 11 p.m. on Nov. 14 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 15 in the 4100 block of Hyer Avenue.

Theft
A 62-year-old resident reported that her wallet, including her credit cards, was stolen between 11:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the 4200 block of Emerson Avenue during a science festival at Highland Park High School. 

NOVEMBER 16

Vehicle Damage
A 46-year-old resident reported that her parked vehicle was damaged between 11 p.m. on Nov. 15 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 16 in the 400 block of Windsor Avenue.

Fraud
A 42-year-old resident reported fraudulent use of his identity after an unknown person withdrew funds from the resident's bank account.

Harassment
A 24-year-old resident reported that she was being harassed by a man who continued to contact her after she repeatedly asked him to stop. 

NOVEMBER 17

Theft of Service
A cab driver reported that an unknown person exited his taxi cab at 12:51 a.m. in the 6600 block of Athens Street without paying the $75 fare. 

Vehicle Burglary
A 42-year-old resident reported that the passenger window of her vehicle was broken and her iPhone was stolen between 12 p.m. and 12:10 p.m. in the 4400 block of Hanover Street.

Vehicle Burglary
A 55-year-old resident reported that his 2007 Chevy Tahoe was burglarized, and his third row seat and golf clubs were stolen, between 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Golf Drive.

NOVEMBER 18

Vehicle Burglary
A 46-year-old resident reported that the third row seat was stolen from his GMC Yukon between 9 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 8 a.m. on Nov. 18 in the 3600 block of Rosedale Avenue.

Vehicle Burglary
A 44-year-old resident reported that the third two seat was stolen from his 2009 GMC Yukon between 7 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 18 in the 3600 block of Granada Avenue.

Theft
A 38-year-old resident reported that her wallet was stolen by an unknown person between 9 p.m. on Nov 17 and 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the 2800 block of Dyer Street.

Vehicle Burglary
A 51-year-old resident reported that the third row seat was stolen from her 2007 Chevy Suburban between 10 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 18 in the 3500 block of Haynie Avenue.
