Now adults can have just about as much fun reading in the summer as kids do.  For the first time, UP Public Library is offering a Grown UP Summer Reading program.  Just like our younger readers, all adult participants will receive a yard sign when they enroll. To participate, once you’ve finished a book or completed a challenge, go online here.  Those who do will be entered into weekly drawings for prizes.  The program runs from June 1 to July 31.   

After reading three books or completing three challenges, participants will receive a custom-made bookmark.  Grown UP readers who finish five books or challenges will receive a smartphone stand.
