Friends and supporters gathered at Notre Dame School on April 14 for the 6th Annual Quiz Night. Hosted by Leah & Philip Ewing and Laura & Will McCormack, the event raised almost $12,000 for Notre Dame School. Over 100 guests tried their wit and wisdom with a variety of topics ranging from sports to popular food products! The games were directed by Sporcle, which hosts trivia games at several establishments throughout Dallas-Fort Worth.
Underwriters for the event included The Huckleberry Foundation, Inverdale Capital Management, Park Hollow Orthodontics – Dr. Sarah Pollan, Four Corners Brewing Company, Hola HP, MilkEase, Modern + Soul, ROKA, and Taco Bueno.
Guests dined on hot dogs by Austin’s Underdawgs Food Truck – a small business created by Austin, a young man with Down syndrome. Four Corners Brewing Company provided the beer.
Notre Dame School educates students with developmental disabilities and facilitates their integration into society. As the only school in Dallas exclusively serving this student population, Notre Dame is a unique educational resource in our city and provides special education to 158 students ages 6 to 22. Notre Dame School is a Catholic school and is sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
