University of North Texas recently held its Kuehne Speaker Series at the Hilton Anatole Dallas featuring FOX News anchor Melissa Francis. Francis spoke on “Fake News and the Economic Boom.” The UNT Kuehne Speaker Series was established in 2013 to provide a forum to engage in conversation about topics of national and global relevance.
Park Place Lexus Plano has been a supporter of the University of North Texas for many years, hosting numerous events such as the Mean Green Coaches Caravan and has committed to be a $10,000 sponsor of the UNT Kuehne Speaker Series for the next five years.
Park Place Lexus President, Jordan Case, an alum and former quarterback of the North Texas Mean Green football team in 1978 and 1979, established himself as one of the most accurate passers in the school's history. Two decades after the end of his collegiate career, Case still ranks number one in completion percentage and number four in passing efficiency with a total of 2,608 passing yards, ranking in the school's top 10 all-time. Case was inducted into the UNT Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001.
Case has led Park Place Lexus for more than 25 years. Under his leadership in 2005, Park Place became the first automobile dealership to ever receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award, the nation's highest Presidential honor for quality and organizational performance excellence.
