On Tuesday, November 20th, Hyer Elementary School second graders held a special day to celebrate Thanksgiving and to experience the community life of Plymouth Plantation.  The students dressed as Pilgrims and brought authentic Pilgrim lunches in baskets and pails filled with foods that the Pilgrims would have eaten.  The highlight of the morning was a Thanksgiving musical performance in the Hyer auditorium for second grade parents and the Hyer PTA.
