Her pr clean and jerk at 62kg
HPMS 7th grader Victoria Thornton competed at USA Weightlifting Youth Nationals in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Friday, June 15, 2018. She proved that she is a true contender in olympic weightlifting by once again standing on the podium at Youth Nationals. She snatched 50 kg and clean and jerked 62 kg, which was a pr for her. Her total was 112kg, which was enough for three silver medals, one for each of her lifts and one for her total.
