BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
Three bags of clothing were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3700 block of Villanova Drive between 12:00 PM on July 3 and 8:00 PM on July 5.
JULY 9
FORGERY FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT
Officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank in Snider Plaza. A caller stated that someone was inside the bank, attempting to cash a fake check. The suspect was arrested.
JULY 10
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLES
An unknown suspect broke the complainant's driver's side window and stole the vehicle from the 3200 block of Marquette Street.
JULY 11
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Officers responded to a possible intoxicated driver at the intersection of Bryn Mawr and Boedecker. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect's vehicle with the suspect inside. The officer conducted a field sobriety test on the suspect and found the suspect to be intoxicated. The suspect was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
THEFT UNDER $100
A suspect took a six-pack of beer from a store and left without paying. The suspect then jumped inside a waiting getaway car outside the store. Upon leaving the scene, the driver struck a vehicle while backing out of the parking lot, then left the scene without providing information to the owner.
BURGLARY OF HABITATION
A witness arrived home and observed an older SUV speeding away from her driveway. She parked, then went inside and found that drawers were open. She also heard someone upstairs, so she exited the home and called the police. The victims tated that property was missing from the residence and an upstairs window was found open. It is believed that the window was the suspect's exit point.
FRAUDULENT USE OR POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
At 6:42 PM, an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 2800 block of Dyer Street in regards to an Identity Theft report. The victim advised the officer that an unknown suspect used his identifying information to open lines of credit without the victim's consent.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
At 8:32 PM, an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 3500 block of Villanova Drive in regards to a criminal mischief report. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the victim, who advised that an unknown person had used a tool to break a window in his vehicle without consent.
JULY 13
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
A suspect took a victim's wallet from her vehicle without her consent while it was parked in the 3900 block of Northwest Parkway at approximately 12:25 PM.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE
An unknown suspect stole a victim's vehicle overnight from the 3200 block of Amherst Street.
JULY 14
CRIMINAl MISCHIEF
An unknown suspect's vehicle made contact with the victim's vehicle in the 3200 block of Colgate Avenue at approximately 8:30 AM.
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
Someone entered a resident's vehicle in the 4999 block of Amherst Drive and removed a tennis bag with rackets. The unknown suspect did not have permission to do so.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
Victims reported a theft of tools from the 3800 block of Centenary Drive between 10:30 and 11:30 AM.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
An unknown suspect broke two windows on the reporting person's vehicle while it was parked in the 3200 block of Rosedale Avenue.
