JULY 9 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

At 10:45 AM, an officer was dispatched to the lobby of HPDPS to meet with a victim and his daughter. The father was performing lawn care duties for residents in the 4400 block of Livingston Avenue when he had two trimmers removed from the cab of his vehicle without his permission. There is footage from the home's security camera that shows a suspect taking the items and leaving the scene. 


JULY 10 

FAILURE TO LEAVE ID AT ACCIDENT 

A victim was driving east in the 3200 block of Mockingbird Lane when a car in the right lane came into her lane and collided with her passenger-side mirror. The suspect vehicle did not stop and left without rendering any aid or providing information. The damage was minimal but a report was filed. 


JULY 11 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

A victim in a Whole Foods parking lot on Lomo Alto reported that he parked his vehicle in a free parking space at 1:45 PM, then returned thirty minutes later to find that the driver door key lock had been punched out and was missing. When he opened the door, he found that the plastic steering column was broken, torn off and lying on the floorboard. The ignition switch was broken and the car's key no longer worked. The victim's wallet was also stolen. There are currently no suspects. 


JULY 13 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

An officer responded to the 4500 block of Roland Avenue at approximately 6:41 AM. An unknown person punched the lock on a vehicle's front driver-side door and damaged the ignition on the victim's vehicle while it was parked on the street. The vehicle had been locked, but it appears that the suspect attempted to start the vehicle and caused damage in the process. 

FOUND PROPERTY 

At approximately 2:16 PM, an officer was dispatched to the lobby of 4700 Drexel Drive on a report of found property. The reporting person stated that she found a set of keys attached to a lanyard at the intersection of Beverly Drive and Eton Avenue. The keys were entered into an evidence locker for safe keeping. 


JULY 14 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

An officer was dispatched to the 4500 block of Beverly Drive at approximately 4:35 AM to investigate a burglary. The home's garage door was open and the side mudroom glass pane was broken. The stove was missing from the kitchen and the valve was left open. There was damage to the wood floor and tire tracks in the garage. There were no active cameras on location and no one had permission to enter the home or remove the stove. 


JULY 15 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

At approximately 1:17 PM, an officer was dispatched to a reported burglary of a motor vehicle in the 4200 block of Lomo Alto Drive. The victim stated that an unknown person forced open the rear hatch of his vehicle and removed the third-row seat without consent. No pry marks were visible and no other property was reported missing.
