W "I looked up Ideate, and now I know what it means!"
We're counting the minutes until Winter Break, and with three weeks of day camps, there is something for every young techie!

If your school break or travel plans fall in the middle of a week, don't worry - we planned for that. All camp activities are able to be either extended over several days, or brought to conclusion, so no camper has to leave with projects undone. We'll prorate camps, too, if you contact us and let us know more about your schedule and days you can attend.

Monday, Dec. 18 - Friday, Dec. 22

"STEAM Mix Camp"

During this week-long holiday camp we'll delve into all things Science. Join us for some electronics, coding, maker projects, drone control, math games, design challenges and 3D Printing. Camp is best for students seven to fourteen years old. No experience with coding required.

Tuesday, Dec. 26 - Friday, Dec. 29

"Ultimate Video Game Creator Camp"

This four day holiday camp is for the game player who wants to turn game maker and will feature coding and game design in Scratch, Stencyl, and (for more advanced coders) JavaScript in the ICE Code Editor. Camp is best for students seven and older who have either no experience, or those who have some exposure to coding but want to learn more about how to use JavaScript to create.

Tuesday, Jan. 2 - Friday, Jan. 6

"Intro to Coding & Using Microcontrollers"

The micro:bit is a tiny computer which offers kids an opportunity learn electronics, coding, and prototyping. The Makey Makey is a fun circuit board that lets curious students make household items into working computer keys. This four day holiday camp will feature the BBC micro:bit hardware and Microsoft MakeCode software and Makey Makey Invention Kits for use with the popular Scratch Programming Language. Camp is best for students seven and older who have either no experience, or those who have some  exposure to coding but who want to learn about the micro:bit, available/compatible add-ons, and JavaScript.
