HP Library Offers Travel Tips to Italy

The Town of Highland Park Harvey R. “Bum” Bright Library will be hosting author and artist Diane Van Buren for an informative presentation about what to see and do when visiting Italy. This presentation is open to the public, and will be held at the Highland Park Library in Town Hall on Saturday, November 2, at 2:00 p.m. No reservations required to attend.

“My objective is to give travelers ideas of ways they can enrich their exploration of diverse cultures and immerse themselves in the surroundings and richness of the arts and history of Italy,” Van Buren said. “It is my hope that travelers will experience a deeper connection and joy in elevated living.” Van Buren was raised in Rome, Italy, and has traveled abroad most of her life. Now a resident in the Dallas area, she is a photographer, artist, designer, and author of Enlightened Rome: Discover the Magic of Piazzas and Public Spaces in Rome, Italy.
