The Varsity Tennis Team will compete Wednesday in College Station in the Texas 5A Team Tennis state semi-finals against Georgetown High School. The finals will be Thursday. The playoff run for the Scots has been perfect, not dropping a match thru district, area and regionals with an impressive 50-0 record beating Dallas Samuel, Frisco Independence, Frisco Centennial, Texas High, Texarkanaand Frisco Lebanon Trail. The team is hoping to capture it’s 20th state title and 4th in a row! The Boys doubles teams of Rhett Bailey and Cole Burnam, McKay Harman and Skyler Carter and Peyton Dooley and Ray Saalfield have posted convincing wins each match! Girls Doubles teams of Katherine Petty and Bridget Stammel, Annika Juergens and Lizanne Boyer, Nell Covington and Cambelle Henderson, Ashley Newton and Hayden Bethea and Jourdan Krueger and Isabella McElfresh have impressive victories keeping the record perfect! And Harold Glasscock and Lucy Tilden playing mixed doubles are a dominating duo! The Scots would not be as successful without the loyal support of Coach Holden, Coach Jiminez and the entire team! The community is encouraged to come to the State Send Off Tuesday at 11:30 am! Let’s go Scots!
