Dinner, Dancing and Casino Games For Dallas Symphony Debutantes

Cocktail dresses were the attire for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League’s debutantes Casino Party held at The Venue at 400 North Ervay on July 27. The debs, honor guard, and their families had dinner, casino games, and dancing with live music by Ice House. The food and beverages were graciously underwritten by Food Glorious Food.

The event was chaired by Mari Epperson. The Presentation Ball Chair is Melissa Lewis and DSOL President is Kim Brannon.

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League introduced the 2019-2020 Debutantes during Announcement Weekend festivities in June. It marked the official start of the season of events culminating with the 34th Presentation Ball, which will be held February 8, 2020. Dr. Linda Burk and Dr. John Gilmore will serve as Honorary Chairs.

The Presentation Ball, which was first held in 1987, is the largest fundraiser for the DSOL. Over $11 million has been raised for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra through the annual event, which was created with the vision of long-time League member Tincy Miller, who chaired the first ball.
